Places

Places

If you are a wild flower like me, you probably love to travel. And also, possibly, just a handful of those places visited felt home. Even though it was your very first time there. For me, it’s always about a feeling of belonging, a vibrational field that I recognize and in which I vibe too at the same level.

In my many travels, only a few of them are still very well imprinted in my memory as corners of this world where I have left a piece of my heart. Trust me when I say I can count them in one hand only.

In my last adventure in Morocco I have sensed it again as soon as I set foot in Imsouane. I don’t know why, I simply acknowledged it. We resonate with energies, with people and with places.

This little fishing/rural village became famous for surfers for its famous right called “the Bay.” It is said is the longest right in Africa. I had the pleasure of surfing there too.

There is certainly something magical about this place where there is no ATM, no public buses and an unfinished road crossing through a hollowed rocky mountain with breathtaking beaches.

It’s like living in a bubble once you arrive. Very low key, calm and much like an old movie. I loved the atmosphere. Time felt different too. The pace of my heart changed. There is no rush in doing things. I just fell in love with its simplicity, its informality and its naivety.

Perhaps the impression we get from places we are familiar with, in some way, reflect what we are in that exact moment.

Whatever it is, thanks to this little adventure, I have found again a sense of purpose, a sense of freedom I had forgotten. I got back emotionally lighter, with good memories and a ready for more to come. The world is ours only if you decide to take it. I have been craving this subtle feeling of contentment and of pure joy. It invigorates me, it revives me, it lifts me up in such a way words can not describe. I only know I want more of this. I have the need to expand my knowledge of the world and to experience it. In a way it’s the same for babies, the new born are like sponges absorbing every input they are receiving and want more, they are eager to learn everything.

Putting myself out there with a pure open heart is the only thing I can think of doing right now.

Next stop? Well, I’ll keep you posted. And I’ll leave you with this quote I like from Martin Luther King Jr: “If you can’t fly, then run. If you can’t run, then walk. If you can’t walk, then crawl, but by all means, keep moving.”

With love always
