How to do shadow work

I am here but sometimes I feel like I am not..I feel I am everywhere..Wondering in some other astrals planes and then in a blink of an eye I am back here and now. In this moment that so many times it’s so hard to grasp..And more I tried to hold it, the more I learnt I have to just let it go..

Letting go of the parts of me that helped me to get to this point but are now holding me back I think it’s my hardest task, due to the attachments that come with it. I have been customized to have these parts of me with me, as companionship during the utmost stages of my life.

So to those parts of me I am saying <I love you, I am glad you served me and looked after me until now, but its time to integrate, to evolve, to grow into this beautiful flower that really wants to bloom>

My soul is calling me to explore new parts of me, reconnecting with this ancient wisdom, new adventures are awaiting with an open heart.

And old programmings start to fade away and allowing clearer sky every time more and more..I can see glimpses of what the possibilities are in front of me..I am breathing it all in as fresh air that fulfill my longs for the first time..I feel the breeze in my hair, on my skin and again I am see myself at the top of this cliff overlooking the horizon and my dear ocean..All I can feel is the love and compassion I have to keep giving to myself.

I sometimes wonder how it would have been if I could not feel in such a deep level, because I do..I’ve always perceived everything so profoundly as the undiscovered bottom of the ocean or as the infinitive universe we don’t yet comprehend..

I have acknowledged it, this is who I am..I am sensitive and it is my greatest gift.. I feel it all, I recognize souls connections, I remember past lives, I am wired this way..I am meant to remember all of it, even though my human mind can’t not make sense right away of it’s immensity..It’s also ok, I don’t have to understand it logically anyway..I trust my inner wisdom..

I only have to let the energy flow through me without any blockages and let my heart expand..

So by this being said, since I have not been posting much lately, I have left a few months ago my beautiful island, my home for the last 15 years, to break and crack open even more my heart by challenging me. And this is what I have been doing.

I have discovered I am my home, it doesn’t matter where I am, I am my secure harbor. I am the ship navigating through this reality, I am the captain, I am the sea, I am the lighthouse. I am all. And more.

I live in all the pieces of you, you live in all of my memories. My heart is connected to yours, as I am grounded to Mother Earth. I am a constant effortless ray of cosmic light incarnated here and now to experience with all we’ve got here.

My light shines through the day and night so you can see once you are ready to see. Once you are ready to recall.

I am not hiding anymore. I have come for a greater mission, I have accepted this task. I am not pulling back now. And I am not going to leave you behind either. So now you know. I am going to work on your side, behind the scene so you can feel me.

The intertwined lines of our existence are undeniable very well linked on other level of consciousness. Welcome to the New World my dear friend. We are all creating it together by shedding light to our darkest parts, to our so long tamed traumas, we are transcending so much..You have no idea how far long it goes back. But this is what we came here to do.

It is said that you have to keep breaking your heart until it opens. So let’s keep it up.

And therefore here are a few tips to support you and inspire you through the journey of self discovery.

Find your space to be yourself without self judgement is essential when we do inner shadow work. it’s crucial and this could be a physical space, like a quiet room or a cozy corner, adorned with items that bring you comfort and peace. Think of candles, crystals, plants, or any objects that hold personal significance.

But it’s not just about the physical space, it’s also about the mental and emotional space. Set an intention to approach this work with kindness and compassion for yourself. Remember, shadow work can bring up challenging emotions and memories, so it’s essential to be gentle with yourself during this process.

The intention could be what do you want to bring in or what do you wish to see you can’t yet see.

I have integrated cacao medicine and herbs. I find it very powerful to allow you to access your heart.

Cacao is often referred to as the “Food of the Gods” and has been used for centuries in spiritual practices. It’s known for its heart-opening properties, making it an excellent tool for shadow work. Drinking cacao in a mindful, ceremonial way can help you connect more deeply with your emotions and inner self.

Alongside cacao, certain herbs can enhance your journey. Choose herbs that resonate with you, and remember to approach them with respect and awareness of how they affect your body.

Meditation is a cornerstone of shadow work, offering a space to observe your thoughts and emotions without judgment. There are various meditation practices that can support you:

  • Mindfulness Meditation: Focus on your breath and observe your thoughts as they arise, without trying to change them. This practice helps you become aware of the parts of yourself that you might normally ignore or suppress.
  • Guided Visualization: Use guided meditations that lead you to meet your shadow self. This could involve visualizing a journey into a forest, a cave, or another symbolic place where you encounter the aspects of yourself that are hidden or repressed. Give them permission to show up and gently ask them to show you what they need.
  • Loving-Kindness Meditation: Cultivate compassion for yourself, especially when difficult emotions or memories come up. This practice can soften the edges of shadow work, making it a more nurturing experience.

Journaling is a powerful tool for exploring the subconscious. It allows you to put your thoughts and feelings into words, which can bring clarity and understanding. Here are some prompts to guide your journaling:

  • “What emotions do I often avoid or suppress? Why?”
  • “Why I feel triggered by this situation?”
  • “What parts of myself am I not taking under consideration?” See what comes up, maybe an image of childhood or something about past life. Let it be. Let it come and welcome it always from a place of compassion and non judgment. Let feelings run through you. Feel it all. And stand strong. You can do it, if it shown to you it’s because you are ready to release it.

As you journal, try to write without censoring yourself. Let your thoughts flow freely, and don’t worry about grammar or structure. The goal is to bring your inner world to the surface, where you can examine it with compassion.

Afterward, it could be you wish to express in a creative way. Whether through painting, dancing, writing poetry, listening to music or any other form of art, allow yourself to express what’s inside without focusing on the outcome.

  • Painting: Don’t think too much about what you’re creating. Instead, let colors and shapes flow naturally from your emotions. The process of putting brush to canvas can be therapeutic, helping to release emotions that words cannot capture.
  • Dancing: Move your body in a way that feels natural and intuitive. Let the music guide you, and don’t worry about how you look. This is about releasing stored emotions and connecting with your body’s wisdom.
  • Music: it can be you have a song stuck in your head or you wish to sing along some mantras. Just allow yourself to be whatever you need it to be.

As you embark on your shadow work journey, remember that it’s a deeply personal process. There’s no right or wrong way to do it. Trust your intuition, and allow yourself to explore whatever arises with compassion and curiosity. By using these tools, you’re creating a pathway to greater self-understanding and healing.

Making space for your truest self to express and be accepted as it is, is such a magnificent experience.

Enjoy the ride!!!!
